Community Created
For the 2025-2026 school year, Community Created invites schools and community groups to participate in a collaborative art project celebrating America 250.
Take inspiration from AMFA’s painting, Clay County Farm by Thomas Hart Benton, to design postcards that illustrate everyday life in Arkansas. Send your postcards to the Museum, and your contribution will be added to an art installation on view in summer 2026.
Download the Activity Guide or Lesson Plan for full project information. The Activity Guide is great for individuals, community groups, and organizations. For educators looking to bring America 250 to life in your classrooms, explore the Lesson Plan for interdisciplinary curriculum connections, step-by-step instructions, and project extensions.
