Membership FAQ

• Can anyone use my membership card?

  Membership cards can only be used by the person(s) named on the card. Most membership levels will allow guests to join the Member for exclusive events.

• How long does a membership last?

  Memberships are annual, meaning they are valid for 12 months from date of purchase or renewal. Memberships expire at the end of the month. If electing to pay for a membership monthly, the membership will remain active after the initial 12 months until the member cancels their membership.

• How do I purchase a gift membership?

  Gift memberships are the perfect way to open the door to arts experiences for someone special. To purchase a gift membership, visit this page of our website. The recipient will receive our inaugural Gift Membership Box, which includes limited edition welcome materials and featured artwork by AMFA Foundation Collection artist Lisa Krannichfeld. Questions? • How long does it take to process a membership?

  Your membership card will arrive 6-8 weeks after signing up, but you can start enjoying the benefits immediately by activating your account online. From there, you can purchase discounted tickets for a range of upcoming programs.

  If you make a visit to AMFA, you can also ask a Guest Services Associate to print a temporary card to use your benefits in person.

• Will I receive new membership cards every year?

  Yes, you will receive a new card when you renew your membership.

• I’m interested in upgrading my membership to a higher level. Do I have to wait until my membership expires?

  You may upgrade your membership at any time during the year by paying the difference between your current level and the new level; your expiration date remains the same. Email us at membership@arkmfa.org and begin taking advantage of increased membership benefits.

• I’m moving, and I don’t want to miss any AMFA mailings, what can I do?

  Email your new address to us at membership@arkmfa.org.

• I’ve lost my card(s), can I get a replacement?

  Yes, email us at membership@arkmfa.org.

• What are Reciprocal Membership Programs? Does my membership qualify for reciprocal membership benefits?

  The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts participates in the North American Reciprocal Membership (NARM) and Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums (ROAM) programs. Special stickers are issued to Traveler-level ($200) members and above which, when attached to their AMFA membership cards, grant member privileges (including free admission) at more than 1,200 North American museums and cultural institutions.

• How can I increase my AMFA access and benefits?

  Consider joining one of our Circle Level memberships. Starting at $1,000 a year, you will enjoy even greater access and exclusive benefits.

• Do I have to have a Social Pass with my membership to attend parties?

  No, all memberships include full core benefits of AMFA, such as discounts in the Windgate Art School, special programming, and Member parties. Membership is still the best way to experience all your AMFA has to offer!

• Does AMFA offer any membership discounts?

  Teachers, Students, and Military receive a discount of $20 on all core memberships. Please call (501) 372-4000 or mail in a copy of an active ID to receive this benefit. Please note this discount does not apply to the Social Pass.
