Laura Tanner: Dish

Share a Recipe That Tells a Story

Artist Laura Tanner’s Dish project, created in collaboration with AMFA, invites Arkansans to share recipes that carry memories.

Through dishes and traditions passed down across generations, these recipes, stories, and images reflect the communities and cultures that shape Arkansas. Together, they will contribute to an upcoming exhibition exploring how food and cooking connects us across time and place.

To participate in the project, submit a recipe passed down through your family, shared by a friend, or created on your own. Whether rooted in tradition or personal experience, each submission offers a glimpse into the diverse dishes and stories that define Arkansas.

Join us during upcoming events to enjoy food from local restaurants, learn more about Laura Tanner’s artistic practice, and share your own stories to contribute to her artwork.
