Tabriz, AMFA’s legacy fundraising event, raises critical funding to support the Museum’s mission of creating a cultural space that inspires and builds community through the visual and performing arts.

With a rich history dating back over fifty years, Tabriz has included two nights of festivities – the legendary black-tie gala and a more casual Thursday night event. These traditions continue this year with Tabriz Gala and Tabriz Table, both inspired by AMFA's blockbuster exhibition Rivera's Paris.

Tabriz Gala is an elegant black-tie affair that will transport guests through the places that inspired Diego Rivera during his early years in Europe. At 6:00 p.m., the evening begins with cocktails in the Atrium accompanied by live music from Grammy award-winning La Santa Cecilia and a special presentation by Ballet Arkansas.

After cocktail hour, enjoy a four-course seated dinner that blends Mexican and French cuisines, followed by an exciting live auction led by world-renowned auctioneer Robbie Gordy and surprise musical performances.

To end the evening, return to the Atrium for a nightcap in the "Tabriz Jazz Club" with live music by the incomparable Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

Since the Museum’s grand opening in April 2023, AMFA has demonstrated its deep commitment to the community by offering free admission to every guest, every day. And with a robust statewide outreach program, AMFA has welcomed guests from every corner of Arkansas and every state in the U.S.

A robust and exciting exhibition schedule is one of the catalysts that ensures guests will repeatedly return and strategically positions AMFA as a true arts destination. Through educational programming, thousands of students are visiting the Museum each year, and many youths and families are thoughtfully engaging with art for the first time. The community is also able to enjoy unique opportunities to experience artist talks, films, performances, concerts, and more. Through outreach programming, AMFA can serve the state’s most vulnerable populations with programs designed to specifically suit their needs.
