About the Film
Based on a true story, two down-on-their-luck musicians form a joyous Neil Diamond tribute band, proving it’s never too late to find love and follow your dreams.
Memphis filmmaker Craig Brewer has long explored music through his films, going back to 2005’s hit Hustle & Flow. His latest film is sure to please anyone who has ever belted out their own rendition of Sweet Caroline on karaoke night. Song Sung Blue is the story of Lightning and Thunder, a Milwaukee husband-and-wife Neil Diamond tribute act, who experience soaring success and devastating heartbreak in their musical journey together.
