O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000)

January 14, 2027 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Film still from the film O Brother Where Art Thou depicting three men in gray and white striped prisoner outfits making bewildered expressions in a forest.

Take a rollicking journey through Depression-era Mississippi with Joel and Ethan Coen’s O Brother, Where Art Thou?, a spirited comic adventure loosely inspired by Homer’s The Odyssey.

The film follows three escaped convicts—fast-talking Everett, loyal Delmar, and hotheaded Pete—as they search for buried treasure while encountering a colorful cast of prophets, politicians, sirens, outlaws, and musicians along the way.

Blending sharp humor, mythic storytelling, and an unforgettable soundtrack rooted in bluegrass, gospel, blues, and American folk traditions, O Brother, Where Art Thou? celebrates the music, folklore, and storytelling spirit of the American South.
