Family Fest: American Summer
June 27 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Kick off the Fourth of July holiday with a day of art, music, and outdoor fun at AMFA!
Join a mini parade led by Flurffy – AMFA’s beloved pink puppet dog – and enjoy festivities in MacArthur Park, including art-making, lawn games, and special offerings from Park Grill.
Step inside the Museum to experience a large-scale community artwork made from thousands of postcards created by Arkansans across the state, then explore the Windgate Art School’s studios for more fun and art-making inspired by America’s 250th anniversary.
This event is recommended for ages 4 and up.
Family Fest: American Summer is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
The Windgate Art School is generously supported by the Windgate Foundation with additional support from Sherry Worthen in memory of George Worthen.
The Windgate Art School’s Reduced Tuition Program is supported by Michael Laughter. Reduced tuition is automatically applied to all classes through 2026.
