Concert Series: Davina and the Vagabonds
April 1, 2027 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Davina and the Vagabonds have created a stir on the national music scene with their high-energy live shows, level-A musicianship, sharp-dressed professionalism, and commanding stage presence that blends early jazz, blues, and ragtime. With influences ranging from Fats Domino and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band to Aretha Franklin and Tom Waits, the band is converting audiences around the world one show at a time.
This ensemble shines every time they play, earning feverish acclaim from the Chicago Tribune, NPR, and more in addition to performing on BBC’s international favorite late-night program Later… With Jools Holland and appearing on PBS’s Bluegrass Underground.
“Davina Sowers creates her own Americana mishmash — a little Amy Winehouse-worthy neo-soul here, a little Great American Songbook-influenced songcraft there.” – Rolling Stone
The 2026-2027 Concert Series is supported in part by Mary Ann Coleman, Mimi San Pedro, Olivia Farrell, and Susan Conley and the Partnership for Community Enrichment with Gael Downs Hees and Randy Hees.
