Art Start

Art and Max begins as a simple question – “What should I paint?” – and quickly becomes a wild adventure that transforms two lizard friends inside and out.

Join us for storytime as we celebrate artistic experimentation and the joy of unexpected discoveries. After the reading, young artists will use string to create a vibrant artwork inspired by the playful painting mishaps in the book.

Art Start is an early reader program that pairs children’s books with art activities, inviting toddlers and preschool students to learn through reading, imaginative play, and art-making.

This free program welcomes parents, grandparents, caregivers, and our youngest patrons to drop in and explore with us – no reservations required!
