Explore Arkansas’s role as a cultural crossroads through a dynamic conversation bringing together artists, scholars, and community leaders.
Examine how overlooked stories are rediscovered, how cultural memory is preserved, and how communities reclaim narratives that have too often been left untold.
Moderated by AMFA Artist-in-Residence and Marie and Rosetta director Fergie Philippe, this exciting event features the following panelists:

Before the Event
Arrive early at 5:30 p.m. to learn about the remarkable life and legacy of Arkansas composer Florence Price through a special presentation created and performed by students from Little Rock Central High School.
Through dramatic storytelling and historical narrative, this free performance illuminates the achievements of one of America’s most influential, yet historically overlooked, composers.
