Architecture and Design Network Lecture Series: John Greer
September 29 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The mission of the Architecture and Design Network (ADN) is to educate the public about architecture, design, and related disciplines and the ways in which their practice shapes communities and affects people’s lives.
This lecture features John Greer, WER Architects Principal, who will share the history and architectural significance of Historic Cane Hill, a community whose buildings and landscape reflect an important chapter in Arkansas history.
Drawing from WER’s experience preserving, renovating, and restoring multiple historic properties of Cane Hill, John will explore the challenges and opportunities of working within a historic community, the importance of thoughtful preservation, and how architecture can honor a place’s past while giving its buildings renewed purpose for the future.
Before the lecture, enjoy a short reception from 5:30-6:00 p.m. in the Atrium. The lecture begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Governor Winthrop Rockefeller Lecture Hall.
