The Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, opened in 2011, is nestled on 134 acres of Ozark landscape and was designed by the world-renowned Safdie Architects.

Its newly-opened 114,000-square-foot expansion introduces two new dedicated art galleries and a creative learning center (the Hub) with educational spaces, community gathering areas and galleries, artist-in-residence studios, and art-making spaces.

The new galleries are connected by a bridge that features a 40-seat café, Quartz + Honey, where visitors can dine with unobstructed views of the five acres of surrounding landscape, including streams, gardens, trails, and a 15,000-square-foot pond.

Crystal Bridges’ permanent collection spans five centuries of American artworks from early American to the present and is always free to view.

Works such as Asher B. Durand’s Kindred Spirits, Gilbert Stuart’s George Washington, and Georgia O’Keeffe’s Jimson Weed are displayed alongside contemporary artists such as Kerry James Marshall, Maya Lin, Fritz Scholder, Jaune Quick-to-See-Smith, Félix González-Torres, and Amy Sherald, representing some of the finest achievements in American art.

Keith Haring in 3D is the first exhibition to highlight the iconic artist’s work in three dimensions.

Though Keith Haring is typically thought of as primarily a painter, Keith Haring in 3D focuses on a lesser-known yet highly compelling aspect of his practice as a sculptor.

This exhibition marks the first time Haring’s three-dimensional work has been explored at this scale, offering new insight into an important yet underexamined aspect of his career.

Grandma Moses: A Good Day’s Work celebrates Anna Mary Robertson, better known as “Grandma Moses” (1860-1961), a multidimensional force in American art, whose beloved painted recollections of rural life earned her a distinctive place in the cultural imagination of the postwar era.

Drawing its name from Moses’ reflection on her own life as “a good day’s work,” the exhibition reveals how Moses’ art fused creativity, labor, community, and memories from her century-long life.
