Each week of AMFA's Summer Art Camps offers a new selection of visual and performing arts classes, both in the morning and the afternoon, allowing you to build a schedule that fits your student’s needs and interests:
- For a half-day experience, sign your student up for either a morning session (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) or an afternoon session (1:00 - 4:00 p.m.).
- For a full-day experience, select both a morning and afternoon session. Your student will bring their lunch and enjoy a supervised lunch break each day from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
AMFA's Summer Art Camps are led by instructors who are experienced practicing artists and educators, with thorough background checks to ensure a safe and enriching environment for your young artist.
Please review our guidelines and policies before registering for a class. The grade levels listed below are intended for students rising into those grades. All supplies are included in the cost of each class.

Students will enhance their digital design skills, gaining proficiency in the tools and techniques that bring digital artwork to life. Dive into using digital brushes, layering techniques, and essential features of creating on a screen.
You will visit the AMFA galleries, drawing inspiration from displayed artworks to create original digital paintings and drawings. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of digital art and the expertise to design digital drawings.
An iPad equipped with Procreate and an Apple Pencil will be provided during scheduled class time, though you are welcome to bring your own tablets with Procreate installed.

Young artists will enhance their digital design skills, gaining proficiency in the tools and techniques that bring digital artwork to life. Dive into using digital brushes, layering techniques, and other essential features of creating on a screen.
Students will visit the AMFA galleries, drawing inspiration from displayed artworks to create their own digital paintings and drawings. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of digital art and the expertise to design digital drawings.
An iPad equipped with Procreate and an Apple Pencil will be provided during scheduled class time, though you are welcome to bring your own tablets with Procreate installed.
