AMFA Announces Lineup for 2024-25 Concert Series
The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts (AMFA) announces an exciting concert series presenting acclaimed performers and spanning multiple musical genres. Season tickets are available for purchase starting Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Concert series season tickets are $357 for members and $397 for non-members and can be purchased on AMFA's website. All fees–totaling $40 for the entire season–will be waived through Sunday, May 26, 2024.
Tickets to individual concerts will be released on Thursday, July 11, 2024. All concerts will take place in AMFA’s Performing Arts Theater.
Dr. Victoria Ramirez, Executive Director of AMFA, remarked, “Building off last year’s successful series with several sold-out concerts, we are certain the 2024-25 season will captivate audiences. Seeing Little Rock’s positive response to the series - and welcoming so many guests that traveled from afar for the concerts - has been one of the many highlights of our inaugural year.”

Booker T. Jones, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, is celebrated as the most renowned Hammond B3 player in history. Leading Booker T. and the MGs at Stax Records, he collaborated with icons like Otis Redding and Albert King, producing acclaimed albums such as Willie Nelson's "Stardust" and Bill Withers' "Just As I Am."
Renowned jazz pianist and composer Peter Martin, along with acclaimed clarinetist-saxophonist Anat Cohen and Brazilian jazz guitarist Romero Lubambo, unite for a captivating show titled “Rio Meets New Orleans.”

Led by trumpeter Marc Franklin, guitarist Joe Restivo, and vocalist John Nemeth, the ensemble has garnered acclaim for their immersive performances, earning praise for rekindling Memphis' influential musical era, and maintaining a forward-looking vision in their sophomore studio album, “Leave the Light On.”
Bab L’Bluz, co-founded by Yousra and Brice in Marrakech, showcases their exploration of the guembri's possibilities in their studio, resulting in an expressive and innovative musical journey.
