Workshops

Spend a Saturday immersed in art with AMFA's one-day workshops! You will have fun getting creative and learning from expert instructors, then get to take home your own work of art.

Workshops are open to adults of all ages. Each workshop meets from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a one-hour break for lunch.

  • Plant Marker Marathon

    In this all-day workshop, make markers for the entire garden. Stamp plant names or sentiments on small brass or copper labels and rivet them to metal stakes.

  • Jewelry Upcycle

    Broken necklaces, single earrings – bring it all to this workshop. Add beads and findings from our collection, and even trade objects with classmates, to create new jewelry.

  • Acrylic Rings & Bangles

    Heat and bend strips of colorful acrylic sheet and rivet the ends with a metal connector to make technicolor rings and bangle bracelets.
