    In this one-day workshop, deck the holiday halls or your everyday environment with two kinds of dangling delights. Using a fun blending technique and vivid alcohol inks, learn to make ornaments out of polymer clay, then emboss a metal shape of your choosing with your own dimensional design. Add wire and beads to complete the looks and maybe even combine some into a short garland.

    All skill levels welcome. All materials included.

    In this one-day workshop, spend the day learning how to enamel by adding glass-like powders and liquids to metal and switching pieces in and out of the kiln to watch the transformation take place. Learn to saw shapes out of lightweight steel or use the shapes provided to make jewelry and small art objects.

  • Drop-In Figure Drawing

    Drop in at either of these drawing sessions to work in an untutored setting from the draped or undraped model. Each three-hour session will feature a variety of timed poses, providing a dynamic experience for both students and artists.

    Must be 18+ to attend, as the sessions may use the undraped model. Instructor moderates the session and is available for critique and questions upon request.

  • Drop-In Printmaking

    This three-hour session provides open studio time for experienced printmakers. Experiment with your craft or create gifts for a loved one this holiday season!

  • Ceramics Open Studio (SOLD OUT)

    Open studio sessions allow intermediate and advanced students to develop their practice in an energetic community-based setting. No instruction will be provided for these sessions. Kilns will continue to be loaded and fired throughout the month.

    All work must be glazed by December 19 to be fired by end of session.

  • Cutting Board Workshop

    In this one-day workshop, make a cutting board for kitchen use. Learn how to use the jointer, planer, table saw, bandsaw, and router, then sand the cutting board and apply a food-safe finish. Choose from domestic hardwoods on hand: maple, walnut, or cherry.
