AMFA offers children a variety of affordable, accessible, and playful educational experiences exploring the visual and performing arts. By attending interactive programs that encourage doing and making in a nurturing learning environment, students cultivate curiosity and foster a love of the arts as they grow into adulthood and beyond.

Making Together

Work side-by-side to create a handmade mask using paint, felt, yarn, and other crafting materials that will set both of your costume's apart from the crowd.

Clay Vases | Ages 4+
Make a family heirloom together! Learn the basics of constructing a flower vase inspired by the art on view in the AMFA exhibition The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art.
After the workshop, vases will be fired by AMFA staff and participants will be contacted when ready for pick-up.

The Figure in Paint | Grades 9-12
