SUMMARY:Drop-in Figure Drawing
DESCRIPTION:Immerse yourself in a three-hour drawing session set in an untutored environment at the Windgate Art School. This dynamic experience will feature a variety of timed poses with draped and undraped models\, providing an excellent opportunity for first-time students and experienced artists alike to hone their skills. \nStudents must be 18+ to attend\, as the session may use an undraped model. An instructor will moderate the session and be available for critiques and questions upon request. \nStudents are encouraged to bring their own materials or purchase materials from the AMFA Museum Store. Recommended materials are graphite drawing pencils\, charcoals\, and a kneaded eraser. DESCRIPTION:During this time\, thoughtful adjustments will be made across the Museum to create a more comfortable experience for guests with sensory sensitivities. Guests can enjoy a gentle reduction in lighting and volume throughout the galleries\, as well as a quiet area in the Governor Winthrop Rockefeller Lecture Hall for those needing space to relax and recharge during their visit. \nStaff members stationed at each Guest Services Desk will also have weighted blankets and sensory bags on hand for both children and adults.
