DESCRIPTION:Experiment with printmaking during this three-hour drop-in experience at the Windgate Art School. Open to beginner and experienced artists alike\, it’s a great way to learn a new art form or work independently on your own projects. \nAn instructor will moderate the session and be available for critiques and questions upon request. \nStudents are encouraged to bring their own materials or purchase materials from the AMFA Museum Store. Please view the supply list for suggested materials. Through performing arts and dialogue\, artists and audiences explore meaningful stories about history\, identity\, and culture within local\, national\, and international contexts.  \n\n\nIn this edition of Sparking Dialogue\, AMFA presents Breaking the Box\, a live performance that combines documentary theatre with fiction\, video footage\, and music to examine race\, education\, and the “school-to-prison pipeline” in America. \nBreaking the Box dives into this complex topic\, offering a unique forum to engage in topics through the lens of performing arts. The post-show discussion with the creators allows the audience to dialogue with the artists on the themes presented. \n\nDue to the subject matter\, the recommended audience age range for this program is high school students to adults. \nSparking Dialogue Through Drama is supported by the Alice L.
