DESCRIPTION:Immerse yourself in a three-hour drawing session set in an untutored environment at the Windgate Art School. This dynamic experience will feature a variety of timed poses with draped and undraped models\, providing an excellent opportunity for first-time students and experienced artists alike to hone their skills. \nStudents must be 18+ to attend\, as the session may use the undraped model. An instructor will moderate the session and be available for critiques and questions upon request. \nBasic drawing materials will be available. Students are also welcome to bring their own materials or purchase materials from the AMFA Museum Store. DESCRIPTION:A found object is an organic or manufactured object\, or part of an object\, that is found or purchased by an artist because it is interesting. Working with different connection methods\, learn to assemble found objects into a sculpture using braizing – a technique for joining dissimilar metals at a safe temperature. \nCold connections (in which parts are joined without heat) will also be used. \nThis two-day workshop meets on Saturday\, May 4\, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday\, May 5\, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. \nInstructor: Donnell Williams \n
