DESCRIPTION:Inspired by Howardena Pindell’s painting Aurora Borealis/Solar Storms: August 2022 #1 on view in the galleries\, this Creative Saturdays’ free make-and-take activity invites guests to stop by the Windgate Art School and explore the beauty of natural phenomena through art. Using stencils and paint\, create an abstract night sky using dots to build a unique depiction of the Northern Lights. \nExpand this special experience by discovering what the rest of the Museum has to offer you: \n\nGrab a family-friendly Treasure Map and start an adventure that ends with a prize.\nEnjoy a coffee or tea and browse the books in the Cultural Living Room.\nExplore the galleries and ask our docents questions about the art on view.\nRelax over brunch with incredible views and a locally inspired menu at Park Grill.\n\n\nCreative Saturdays are supported by Garver and the Alice L.
