DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the opening of AMFA’s 64th Young Arkansas Artists exhibition with a day of artmaking and family fun! \nTake creative inspiration from the art on view to make creations of your own in AMFA’s Windgate Art School. DESCRIPTION:Educators\, students\, and their families are invited to attend the 64th Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition Awards Ceremony honoring this year’s student artists and art educators. \nAs the oldest and only statewide art competition for young artists in grades K-12\, Young Arkansas Artists is an essential program that emphasizes the importance of art in education and represents a wide range of media and techniques. \nDuring the awards ceremony\, Grand Juror Christian Cutler – Director/Curator of the Windgate Museum of Art at Hendrix College – will highlight each student’s work selected for this year’s exhibition and present awards. \nRefreshments are included.
