DESCRIPTION:Whether you are an experienced artist or a first-time student\, this open house provides a relaxed and welcoming environment for you to meet our incredible instructors\, picture what it would be like to take an art class at the Windgate Art School\, and celebrate the opening of the 63rd Young Arkansas Artists exhibition. Members can enjoy benefits throughout the afternoon\, including complimentary beverages at the Member Mingle bar in the Atrium. \nRegistration for summer adult classes closes soon\, making this the perfect time to stop by and see what the Windgate Art School has to offer you! \nHere is the schedule for the afternoon: \n1:00-1:30 P.M.\n\nWheel Throwing Demonstration (Ceramics Studio)\nHandbuilding Demonstration (Ceramics Studio)\nCutting Board Demonstration (Wood Shop)\n\n2:00-2:30 P.M.\n\nPrintmaking Demonstration (Flex Studio)\nPainting Demonstration (Drawing Studio)\nDigital Drawing Demonstration (Drawing Studio)\n\n2:30-3:00 P.M.\n\nTorchworking Demonstration (Glass Studio)\nTorch Firing Metal Clay Demonstration (Metals Studio)\nAdult Performing Arts Q+A (Flex Studio)\n\n3:00-4:00 P.M.\n\nSelf-guided tours of all studios.\n\n\nPhoto by Jason Masters. \nThe Windgate Art School is generously supported by the Windgate Foundation with additional support from Sherry Worthen in memory of George Worthen. \nThe 63rd Young Arkansas Artists exhibition and awards are supported by the Alice L.
