DESCRIPTION:Make solid wood holiday ornaments while learning simple slot joint construction techniques\, the basic properties of wood\, and woodshop safety. \nUse the band saw\, scroll saw\, jig saw\, sanders\, hand tools\, and power tools. Choose from multiple templates or create your own unique designs with instructor assistance. \nNo prior experience is necessary\, and all materials are provided! \n\nThe Windgate Art School is generously supported by the Windgate Foundation with additional support from Sherry Worthen in memory of George Worthen. \nWindgate Art School’s Reduced Tuition Program is supported by Michael Laughter.
