SUMMARY:Tapestry Workshop (SOLD OUT)
DESCRIPTION:Explore the art of tapestry weaving\, a technique used to create small\, decorative woven pieces. Participants will learn the basics of setting up a loom\, warping\, and weaving various textures and patterns. \nBy the end of the workshop\, each participant will have completed a small woven tapestry ready to display as wall art or use in other textile projects. No prior weaving experience is required! \n\nThe Windgate Art School is generously supported by the Windgate Foundation with additional support from Sherry Worthen in memory of George Worthen. \nWindgate Art School’s Reduced Tuition Program is supported by Michael Laughter.
