DESCRIPTION:Stop by AMFA’s Windgate Art School where every studio will be open for you to explore and experience! \nWhether you are a skilled artist or a first-time maker\, this opportunity welcomes guests of all ages to experience a variety of artistic disciplines through free\, hands-on activities and exciting demonstrations. \nInstructors will be on hand to answer questions about upcoming art classes and help you pick out the perfect programs for you and your family. \nHere are the free art-making activities happening across each studio: \n\nCeramics Studio – Try out the potter’s wheel or experiment with handbuilding\nDrawing Studio – Sketch a draped model using charcoals\, pencils\, and pastels\nMetals Studio – Create custom wearables and jewelry\nFlex Studio – Make colorful string art inspired by Anne Lindberg’s installation passage\n\n\nStudio Saturdays are supported in part by the Windgate Foundation. \nThe Windgate Art School is generously supported in part by the Windgate Foundation with additional support from Sherry Worthen in memory of George Worthen. \nWindgate Art School’s Reduced Tuition Program is supported in part by Michael Laughter.
